Technical Rescue Instruction
Play Hard! Work Hard! Technical Rescue Instruction is a branch of Robert Oaks Adventures dedicated to providing rescuers with the Knowledge, Skills and Ability to safely and efficiently work in technical rescue incidents.
Our technical rescue programs are based on and comply with NFPA 1670, and NFPA 1006. We offer Awareness, Operations, and Technician level courses.
We like to train your unit as a unit. We like to train your unit in your work enviornment, using sites you may have to respond to.
By us coming to you, You are not spending training money on travel and lodging. Essential personnel are kept close at hand. Overtime spending is kept to a minimum. Your unit will be trained together, learning the techniques together.
By training in your own response areas, your administration and community see their training dollars and your capabilities at work.
Our rope rescue programs are built on a foundation of safety and efficiency,Blending tried and true methods with cutting edge techniques, and equipment in use among top rescue teams world wide. We offer Awareness, Operations and Technician level along with continuing education and advanced topics.
Our confined space/industrial rescue programs focus on safety,efficiency, and compliance. Our programs melt knowledge and hands on practical experiences together to make your responses more rescues than recoveries. We offer Awareness, Operations and Technician level along with continuing education and advanced topics

Confined Space/ Industrial Rescue

Our Technical Rescue Programs are based on and comply with NFPA 1670 and NFPA 1006.
Awareness level classes are typically one day, 4 to 8 hours.
Operations level classes are typically two to three day, 16 to 24 hours.
Technician level classes are typically five to six day, 40 to 48 hours.
We also offer continuing education and advanced topics to keep your skills sharp. Typically our topics are four hours each.
Our programs are customized to your specific needs. We get together with you and evaluate your response area, equipment needs, training sites, scheduling concerns, and your training goals.
Operations and Technician programs are mostly hands on, using realistic sites and resources. These programs need to be scheduled atleast 3 months prior to the course.
Awareness programs are a combination of lecture, powerpoint and demonstration and can be scheduled atleast 1 month prior to the course.
